T.I.P.My dog T.I.P. was released from jail today on $3 Million bond. $1 million was secured by his Atlanta-area house equity and the rest in cash — but he must remain under house arrest until his trial on gun charges, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"I want to thank all the fans for their support," T.I. told more than 60 supporters — some of whom held "Free T.I." signs — as he left the federal courthouse in downtown Atlanta, according to The Associated Press. "Due to the severity of the situation, I can't say much more." He added, "I want to get all of this behind me."

According to MTV, "Baverman put the singer under house arrest at a home in Georgia's Henry County (further details were not available at press time). T.I. must also submit to monitoring, 24 hours a day, by a private monitoring service at his own expense. The only times T.I. will be allowed to leave the home will be for medical appointments and court appearances; he's also been forbidden from owning firearms, was required to surrender his passport and is not allowed to have contact with any witnesses or informants in his case, according to AP. The news service also reports that the only people who will be permitted to live with him are his girlfriend and children — the court must approve any visitors. He is also not allowed to have any safes in his house or car, according to the Journal-Constitution. A status hearing has been set for November 5, AP reports."
