Good job by Vick's dad to Snitch on Mike and embarass him further in the media. That's just not cool to help your son get crucified legally and in the media.Michael Vick's mom, Brenda Boddie, bashed her estranged husband for bad mouthing their son.
I don't know what kind of a father would do that to his child," she said of Boddie. "There was no dogfighting [at our home]. There were no cages. I know he is angry and mad because of his son — because of his drug habit."
Brenda Boddie told the Post that Michael Boddie has a history of drug abuse and is angry that Vick has not shared more of the millions of dollars his son has earned playing football.Boddie "is mad because of the gifts my son would give to me," she said.
Vick also pays for his father's apartment and gives him extra cash, his father admitted.

How come Ookie is supposed to deserve a 'second chance' after murdering dogs for fun for over 6 years, but he can't even forgive his own father for drug addiction?
Sounds like his momma would do or say anything to keep the 'gifts' coming in, and is just pissed at Daddy Vick for telling the truth.
Oh, and so I just found out Vick was born illigetimate, and now has 3 illigetimate children? Wow, another reason to have him as a role model.
Pot smoking pics on the internet, shooting the bird pics on the net, smuggling pot on plane, homies stealing a rolex at the airport, giving herpes under the name of Ron Mexico, running a huge dog fighting ring - Federal conspiracy for interstate gambling and dog fighting. And yet???? Brenda Vick still thinks he just made a 'mistake'?
I think Brenda only cares about how much money her sons make and can give back...and that is how they were raised. You can spit, stomp, cheat, lie, break the law, or anything else as long as you give Momma some money and gifts. Great parenting, and great kids all round, for the proud Thug family.

But have you ever had a family member who was addicted to drugs? Do you know how hard it is to get an addict to stop? Did you know that once someone becomes an addict, they will do anything to support their habit, including stealing from their own family?
We don't know enough about Vick and his family to make a judgement on whether he should forgive him or not. What if he did forgive him multiple times but his dad continues betraying him?
Would you help incriminate or "crucify" your son just because you don't have the best relationship with him?
Illegitimate births don't change anything in this case, in case you didn't know, A WHOLE BUNCH of people from these communities are born illegitimately. In the US actually it's getting to be worse and worse.
Who said he was a role model? He's more of an inspiration that anybody can rise against anything including oppression and become a great person.

Dog fighting has been goin on for decades actually. Do you remember anybody getting convicted in the public eye for dog fighting?
