Lil Wayne was arrested near Manhattan on Sunday at 11:30p.m. after his concert when police officers smelled marijuana by his tour bus. As they got closer Lil Wayne, 24, tossed aside a bag that contained a loaded .40-caliber handgun.Nobody has been charged with possession of marijuana, but officers believe another person on the bus stuffed 7 pounds of weed down the toilet.
Ja Rule was leaving the same concert and got charged with gun possession also.
They both posted bond on Monday and were released.
